Project on Role of Students on Ensuring Healthcare for Hardcore Poor People
People living in condition of poverty are unable to meet their basic needs. Families living at or above the federal poverty level are economically insecure. Its manifestations include hunger and malnutrition, limited access to education and other basic services, social discrimination, and exclusion as well as the lack of participation in decision-making. Under this project, students were trained in Dhaka City and Kishoregonj so that they can make the poor people understand the standard of living, nutrition, importance of safe water, sanitization, hygiene etc. We worked for 24 months with a budget of 35 lac to train the students from 05.02.2019 to 31.12.2021 in coordination with Makhon and Brothers.
